Advanced Placement programı ile öğrencilerimiz kendilerini lise yıllarında üniversitede karşılaşacakları eğitim seviyesine hazırlama fırsatı yakalıyorlar, özellikle yurt dışı üniversite başvurularında önemli bir avantaj elde ediyorlar.

Neden AP?

AP programı College Board tarafından uygulanmakta olan bir eğitim programıdır. Başta ABD olmak üzere 60’tan fazla ülkede uygulanmakta ve tanınmaktadır. Bu program sayesinde öğrenciler lisedeyken üniversite seviyesindeki dersleri alma ve bu derslerden bazı üniversitelerde muaf olma olanağına sahip olabilmektedirler. Okulumuzda, öğrencilerimiz AP programındaki dersleri alabilmektedirler.

Advanced Placement (AP-İleri Düzey Yerleştirme Programı) College Board tarafından düzenlenmekte olup, öğrencilere lisedeyken, üniversite seviyesindeki dersleri alma olanağı sağlamakta, bu dersler sayesinde eleştirel düşünme, sağlam argümanlar oluşturma ve çok yönlü düşünme becerilerini kazandırmayı hedeflemektedir. AP dersleri almış olmak; yurt dışı üniversite başvurularında öğrencinin kendisine yüksek hedefler koyduğunu, zorlu bir müfredatın altından kalkabildiğini gösterdiğinden üniversitelere başvurularda önemli bir avantaj sağlamaktadır.   

Okulumuz aynı zamanda AP sınav merkezidir. 

AP (Advanced Placement) sınavları her yıl Mayıs ayının ilk iki haftası yapılmaktadır.  Sınavlara okulumuz öğrencilerinin yanı sıra dışardan öğrenciler de katılabilmektedir.  Sınavlara okulumuz dışından katılan öğrenciler EXAM ONLY olarak başvuru yapabilmektedirler. 

With the Advanced Placement programme, our students have the opportunity to prepare themselves for the level of education they will encounter at university during their high school years and gain a significant advantage especially in their university applications abroad.

Why AP?

The AP programme is an education programme implemented by the College Board. It is implemented and recognised in more than 60 countries, especially in the USA. Thanks to this programme, students have the opportunity to take university level courses while in high school and to be exempt from these courses in some universities. In our school, our students can take courses in the AP programme.

The Advanced Placement Programme (AP) is organised by the College Board and provides students with the opportunity to take university-level courses while they are in high school, and aims to provide students with critical thinking, solid argumentation and multidimensional thinking skills. Having taken AP courses provides an important advantage in university applications abroad, as it shows that the student has set high goals for himself/herself and can handle a challenging curriculum.

Our school is also an AP exam centre. 

AP (Advanced Placement) exams are held every year in the first two weeks of May.  In addition to the students of our school, external students can also participate in the exams.  Students who participate in the exams from outside our school can apply as EXAM ONLY.
