Müzik Öğretiminde Temel Yaklaşımımız
“Hayatta müzik lazım değildir. Çünkü hayat müziktir… Eğer söz konusu olan hayat, insan hayatı ise müzik mutlaka vardır. Müziksiz hayat zaten mevcut olamaz. Müzik hayatın neşesi, ruhu, sevinci ve her şeyidir.”

Atatürk, gerek toplumsal yaşamda, gerekse bireyin iç dünyasında müziğin ne kadar yaşamsal değer taşıdığını bu sözleriyle dile getirmiştir. MEF Okulları Müzik ve Sahne Sanatları Bölümü olarak bu bilinçle müziği, yaşama katmak, öğrencilerimizin toplumsallaşma sürecinde etkin bir araç durumuna getirmek, sanatsal ve estetik beğeni düzeylerini geliştirmek ve evrensel değerlere sahip olmalarını sağlamak üzere, olabildiğince işlevsel kılmaktır.

Amacımız

• Öğrencilerimizin müziğe yönelik olumlu tutum sergilemelerini, entelektüel meraklarını geliştirmek.
• Müzik terminolojisini ve dilini doğru kullanmalarını, genel müzik kültürlerini geliştirmek.
• Müzik sanatının diğer sanatlarla ilişkisini, tarihsel gelişimi içerisinde sanatsal değerini ve estetiğini kavratmak.
• İyi, doğru, güzel kavramlarını içselleştirmelerini ve bilinçli bir dinleyici olmalarını sağlamak.
• Ulusal bir şarkı dağarcığı oluşturmak.
• Yerel, ulusal ve evrensel müzik kültürünü tanımalarını sağlamak.
• Bireysel yetenekleri doğrultusunda kendi sesini kullanabilme veya bir enstrüman çalabilme istek ve becerileri ile yaratıcılıklarını geliştirmek.

Eğitim Öğretim Yılın İçinde Yapılan Etkinlerimizden Örnekler

• Ulusal Bayramlar, önemli gün ve haftalarda solo, koro ve müzik topluluklarımızla, bale, modern dans, halk dansları, ritim grubu ve drama olarak yer almak.
• Okul içi, il düzeyi, ulusal ve uluslararası alanda yarışmalara ve festivallere katılım sağlamak.
• Tüm sanatsal alanlarda yapılan çalışmaların sergilendiği konser ve gösteri programları düzenlemek.

MEF Lisesinde Müzik Öğretiminin Temel Dayanağı

• Öğrenci merkezli uygulama çalışmaları yapılması ve bunların sergilenmesi.
• Müzik yoluyla öğrencinin kendini ifade edebilmesi, bireysel ve toplu iş yapabilme becerisi kazandırılması.
• İlgi ve isteklerine göre öğrencilerin yeteneklerini geliştirmek.
• Bağımsız olarak bir eseri dinleyip -izleyip- yorumlayabilmek. Eser hakkında duygu ve düşüncelerini ifade edebilmek.
• Hayal gücünün ve bağımsız olarak müzikal anlamda yaratıcılıklarının geliştirilmesi.

Sanatsal alanda ve yapılan çalışmalarda şu değerlendirme ölçeklerini kullanıyoruz:

• İlgi, istek, çaba, derse katılım düzeyi
• Ders araç-gereçlerini kullanma, zamanı yönetme becerisi
• Nota bilgisi, iç duyuş, ritimsel algı
• Etkinliklere katılım, söyleme, çalma
• Müzik Tarihi Bilgisi ve Teorik bilgilenme düzeyi.

Ders Sırasında Öğrencinin Dikkat Edeceği Noktalar:

Öğrencilerimizden ders sırasında ilgili materyal ya da müzik aletini yanında bulundurmasına ve işlevsel olarak kullanmasına; dersin gerektirdiği ilgi, istek ve çabayı göstermesine; derse zamanında girip çıkmasına; ders süresince aktif katılımına; solfej ve ritmik çalışmaları eksiksiz yapmasına; ders sırasında toplu olarak, bireysel söyleme ve çalma yapmasına; teorik bilgilenme için gerekli araştırma, sunum, dinleti gibi etkinliklere katılmasına dikkat etmesi ve uyması; dersi destekleyici konser, etkinlik, workshop gibi etkinliklere katılımı istenmektedir.

Ders Uygulamalarımız:

Yıllık müfredat programı ile paralel yürütülen ders uygulamasında öğrencilerimiz kendi yetenek ve becerileri doğrultusunda yönlendirilirler. Her yıl yapılan kulak taramalarında öğrencilerimiz müzikal yeterliliklerine göre farklılaştırılmış eğitim sistemi uygulanır. Aldıkları eğitimi yıl sonunda düzenlenen konserlerde, uluslararası festival ve yarışmalarda sergilerler.

Our Basic Approach in Music Teaching

“Music is not necessary in life. Because life is music… If the life in question is human life, there must be music. Life cannot exist without music. Music is the joy, spirit, joy and everything of life.”

With these words, Atatürk expressed the vital value of music both in social life and in the inner world of the individual. As MEF Schools Department of Music and Performing Arts, with this awareness, we aim to make music as functional as possible in order to add music to life, to make it an effective tool in the socialisation process of our students, to improve their artistic and aesthetic appreciation levels and to ensure that they have universal values.

Our aim is

• To develop our students’ positive attitude towards music and their intellectual curiosity.
• To improve the correct use of music terminology and language, to improve their general music culture.
• To comprehend the relationship of music art with other arts, its artistic value and aesthetics in its historical development.
• To enable them to internalise the concepts of good, right and beautiful and to be a conscious listener.
• To create a national song repertoire.
• To enable them to recognise local, national and universal music culture.
• To develop their creativity with the desire and skills to use their own voice or play an instrument in line with their individual talents.

Examples of our activities during the academic year.

• To take part in national holidays, important days and weeks with our solo, choir and music ensembles, ballet, modern dance, folk dance, rhythm group and drama.
• To participate in competitions and festivals at school, provincial, national and international level.
• To organise concerts and show programmes where works in all artistic fields are exhibited.

The Basic Basis of Music Education at MEF High School

• Student-centred application studies and their exhibition.
• To enable students to express themselves through music, to gain the ability to do individual and collective work.
• To develop students’ abilities according to their interests and wishes.
• To be able to listen, watch and interpret a work independently. To be able to express their feelings and thoughts about the work.
• To develop their imagination and creativity in musical sense independently.

We use the following evaluation scales in the artistic field and in the studies:

• Interest, desire, effort, level of participation
• Ability to use course materials, time management skills
• Note knowledge, inner sense, rhythmic perception
• Participation in activities, singing, playing
• Music History Knowledge and Theoretical knowledge level.

Points to be considered by the student during the lesson:

Our students are expected to keep the relevant material or musical instrument with them during the course and to use it functionally; to show the interest, desire and effort required by the course; to enter and leave the class on time; active participation during the course; to do solfege and rhythmic exercises completely; to sing and play individually and collectively during the course; to participate in activities such as research, presentation, recital required for theoretical knowledge; to participate in activities such as concerts, events, workshops that support the course.

Curriculum

Our students are guided in line with their own abilities and skills in the course practice carried out in parallel with the annual curriculum programme. A differentiated education system is applied according to the musical proficiency of our students in the ear scans conducted every year. They exhibit their education at concerts, international festivals and competitions organised at the end of the year.
